Rainbow Exploration

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple

Are your students curious about rainbows? Are they learning colours and patterns?
This is a perfect open-ended activity where the students can explore the colours of the rainbow and make their own creations using a variety of coloured materials. This kit
comes with six coloured felt sheets, a bag of coloured pom poms, mini sticks, cubes,
popsicle sticks and a beautiful hand-crafted wooden rainbow.
$40.00

With my students in Junior and Senior Kindergarten I read the story "How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow" For a table top activity, I added my "rainbow exploration kit" along with the story so that the students could explore and create.

The building began and it was really neat to see what the students decided to do with the rainbow coloured manipulatives. The students created some unique structures and rainbows.
