to get your students counting and recognizing numbers?
This number kit encourages the students to practice counting, number sequence, number sense and much more!
This kit includes
one set off numbers 0-9, laminated place mat with numbers 0-9, deck of cards, 1
dice, laminated 10 frame, 1 sheet of felt, wooden numbers and assorted coloured pompoms.
Extensions to add to your kit:
-The book: “10 Black Dots” by Donald Crews or
“Chicka Chicka 123” by Bill Martin Jr and Michael Sampson
-Chalkboard to practice writing numbers
-Number Bingo Game
-Number line for students to follow and count with manipulatives

The students can explore and practice showing different ways of particular numbers. For example this is showing number "6" with the deck of cards, both sets of numbers and pompoms in the ten frame.
